ตามที่เมื่อวันที่ 26 มี.ค. 60 นางแครี แลม อดีตรัฐมนตรีอาวุโสด้านบริหาร (Chief Secretary for Administration) ได้รับเลือกตั้งเป็นผู้บริหารสูงสุดของเขตบริหารพิเศษฮ่องกงต่อจากนายซี วาย เลิง นั้น
ในการนี้ นายสมคิด จาตุศรีพิทักษ์ รองนายกรัฐมนตรี และนายดอน ปรมัตถ์วินัย รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ได้มีข้อความสารแสดงความยินดีถึงนางแครี แลม ผู้บริหารสูงสุดของเขตบริหารพิเศษฮ่องกง โดยมีรายละเอียดดังนี้
