จากกรณีที่ คณะรัฐศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ (มธ.) ออกประกาศปรับการเรียนการสอน ระดับปริญญาตรีที่รังสิต ระหว่างวันที่ 3-6 มีนาคม พ.ศ. 2569 เป็นรูปแบบออนไลน์ เนื่องจากได้เกิดการระบาดของ โรคอีสุกอีใส ในหมู่นักศึกษาของคณะบางส่วนที่ศูนย์รังสิต

คณะรัฐศาสตร์ มธ. จะยังคงจัดการเรียนการสอนระดับปริญญาตรีที่ศูนย์รังสิตในรูปแบบออนไลน์ต่อไปถึงวันที่ 23 มี.ค. 69
ทางคณะกำลังติดตามสถานการณ์อย่างใกล้ชิด โดยมีหน่วยงานทางการแพทย์ที่เกี่ยวข้องคอยช่วยให้การสนับสนุนครับ
ทั้งนี้ เพื่อป้องกันความสับสน ทางคณะจึงขอสรุปความเป็นมาของสถานการณ์โดยสังเขปให้ทราบด้วย ดังนี้
การแพร่ระบาดเริ่มต้นจากค่ายที่นักศึกษาของคณะจัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 13-16 ก.พ. 69
โดยในวันที่ 14 ก.พ. 69 ระหว่างร่วมกิจกรรม มีนักเรียน 1 คน มีตุ่มคันเกิดขึ้น ผู้จัดค่ายจึงพาไปพบแพทย์เพื่อตรวจวินิจฉัย แล้วพบว่าเป็นโรคอีสุกอีใส ทางผู้จัดจึงติดต่อผู้ปกครองให้มารับกลับในวันเดียวกันนั้น
พอมาช่วงวันที่ 1-2 มี.ค. หรือราว 2 สัปดาห์ให้หลัง ก็เริ่มมีนักศึกษาผู้จัดค่ายแสดงอาการพร้อมกัน นำไปสู่การดำเนินมาตรการของคณะ ดังที่ปรากฏ
จากการตรวจสอบล่าสุดเช้าวันนี้ (5 มี.ค. 69) ยอดผู้ติดเชื้อจากค่ายอยู่ที่ 26 คน โดยแบ่งเป็นนักศึกษาของคณะ 15 คน และนักเรียนที่มาเข้าร่วม 11 คน

The Faculty of Political Science at TU will continue conducting undergraduate classes at the Rangsit Center online until March 23, 2026.
The faculty is closely monitoring the situation, with support from relevant medical authorities.
To prevent confusion, the faculty would like to briefly summarize the background of the situation as follows:
The outbreak began at a camp organised by students of the faculty, which took place from February 13-16, 2026.
On February 14, 2026, during the camp activities, one school student developed itchy blisters. The camp organisers took the student to see a doctor for diagnosis, which confirmed chickenpox. The organisers then contacted the student’s parents, who came to pick the student up later that same day.
Around March 1-2, approximately two weeks afterward, several of the student organisers began showing symptoms at the same time. This led to the faculty implementing the measures that have since been announced.
According to the latest check as of this morning (March 5, 2026), the number of infections linked to the camp has reached 26 people, consisting of 15 students from the faculty, and 11 school students who attended the camp.
