กองทัพเรือขอประณามอย่างรุนแรง การละเมิดข้อตกลงหยุดยิงของกัมพูชา สะท้อนความไม่จริงใจต่อสันติภาพชายแดนไทย–กัมพูชา

พลเรือตรี ปารัช รัตนไชยพันธ์ โฆษกกองทัพเรือ ประณามอย่างรุนแรงต่อกรณีที่ฝ่ายกัมพูชาใช้อาวุธยิงเครื่องยิงลูกระเบิดเข้ามาในพื้นที่อำเภอน้ำยืน จังหวัดอุบลราชธานี บริเวณด้านหน้าเนิน 469 เมื่อเช้าวันนี้ (6 มกราคม 2569) เวลาประมาณ 07.25 น. ซึ่งเป็นการละเมิดกระทำที่ละเมิดข้อตกลงหยุดยิงอย่างชัดเจน และส่งผลให้กำลังพลฝ่ายไทยได้รับบาดเจ็บ 1 นาย

การกระทำดังกล่าวสะท้อนให้เห็นถึง ความไม่จริงใจของรัฐบาลกัมพูชาภายใต้การนำของนายฮุน มาเนต ในการปฏิบัติตามข้อตกลงที่ได้ตกลงร่วมกันไว้ ทั้งที่ทั้งสองฝ่ายได้ยืนยันเจตนารมณ์ในการลดความตึงเครียดและรักษาสันติภาพตามแนวชายแดน การใช้กำลังในลักษณะนี้จึงเป็นการกระทำที่บ่อนทำลายความเชื่อมั่น ความไว้วางใจ และกลไกความร่วมมือที่มีอยู่ระหว่างสองประเทศอย่างร้ายแรง

ประเทศไทยยังคงยึดมั่นในหลักสันติวิธี ความโปร่งใส และการเคารพข้อตกลงระหว่างประเทศมาโดยตลอด การละเมิดหยุดยิงซ้ำแล้วซ้ำเล่าของฝ่ายกัมพูชา ไม่เพียงขัดต่อพันธกรณีที่ตกลงกันไว้ แต่ยังเป็นการส่งสัญญาณที่ไม่สอดคล้องกับถ้อยแถลงหรือท่าทีที่ฝ่ายกัมพูชาเคยแสดงต่อสาธารณชนและประชาคมระหว่างประเทศ

อย่างไรก็ตาม ประเทศไทยยังคงยืนยันจุดยืนในการแก้ไขปัญหาด้วยสันติวิธี และยังคงยึดมั่นในการปฏิบัติตาม หลักการทั้ง 16 ข้อตามกรอบคณะกรรมการชายแดนทั่วไป (General Border Committee: GBC) อย่างเคร่งครัด เพื่อธำรงไว้ซึ่งเสถียรภาพ ความสงบเรียบร้อย และบรรยากาศที่เอื้อต่อการเจรจาอย่างสร้างสรรค์ บนพื้นฐานของความจริงใจและความรับผิดชอบร่วมกันของทั้งสองฝ่าย แต่อย่างไรก็ตามก็ยังคงสงวนสิทธิ์ในการป้องกันตนเองตามหลักสากล (Right to Self-Defence)

กองทัพเรือและกองทัพไทยพร้อมปฏิบัติหน้าที่ในการปกป้องอธิปไตย ความปลอดภัยของกำลังพล และประชาชนของประเทศชาติอย่างเต็มขีดความสามารถ ภายใต้กรอบกฎหมายระหว่างประเทศและหลักมนุษยธรรม ควบคู่ไปกับความมุ่งมั่นในการรักษาสันติภาพและความสัมพันธ์อันดีในระยะยาว หากอีกฝ่ายปฏิบัติตามข้อตกลงด้วยความจริงใจเช่นเดียวกัน

Royal Thai Navy Strongly Condemns Cambodia’s Violation of the Ceasefire, Reflecting a Lack of Sincerity Toward Peace Along the Thai–Cambodian Border

Rear Admiral Paraj Ratanajaipan, Spokesperson of the Royal Thai Navy, strongly condemns the incident in which Cambodian forces fired a mortar ammunition into Thai territory in Nam Yuen District, Ubon Ratchathani Province, in front of Hill 469, at approximately 07:25 hours on the morning of 6 January 2026. This act constitutes a clear violation of the ceasefire agreement and resulted in injuries to one Thai soldier.

Such action reflects a lack of sincerity on the part of the Cambodian government under the leadership of Prime Minister Hun Manet in adhering to the agreements jointly reached, despite both sides having affirmed their commitment to de-escalation and the preservation of peace along the border. The use of force in this manner severely undermines confidence, mutual trust, and existing mechanisms of cooperation between the two countries.

Thailand has consistently upheld the principles of peaceful means, transparency, and respect for international agreements. Repeated ceasefire violations by the Cambodian side not only contravene agreed commitments, but also send the signal inconsistent with statements and positions previously conveyed by Cambodia to the public and the international community.

Nevertheless, Thailand reaffirms its commitment to resolving issues through peaceful means and to strict adherence to all 16 principles under the framework of the General Border Committee (GBC), in order to maintain stability, public order, and an atmosphere conducive to constructive dialogue, based on sincerity and shared responsibility by both parties. At the same time, Thailand reserves its inherent right to self-defence in accordance with international law.

The Royal Thai Navy and the Royal Thai Armed Forces stand ready to carry out their duties to protect national sovereignty, the safety of personnel, and the Thai people to the fullest extent of their capabilities, within the framework of international law and humanitarian principles, as well as committed to the preservation of peace and long-term good relations, provided that the other side abides by the agreements with equal sincerity.
