ฟีฟ่า ลดธงชาติไทย และ ทุกสมาพันธ์ลงครึ่งเสา เพื่อร่วมอาลัยต่อการเสด็จสวรรคตคของ “สมเด็จพระบรมราชชนนีพันปีหลวง”
สหพันธ์ฟุตบอลนานาชาติ (ฟีฟ่า) แจ้งต่อ สมาคมกีฬาฟุตบอลแห่งประเทศไทยฯ ถึงการร่วมแสดงความอาลัยต่อการเสด็จสวรรคตของ สมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสิริกิติ์ พระบรมราชินีนาถ พระบรมราชชนนีพันปีหลวง โดยการลดธงชาติไทย รวมถึงธงของสหพันธ์ของทุกทวีปลงครึ่งเสา ณ สำนักงานใหญ่ของสหพันธ์ฟุตบอลนานาชาติ (ฟีฟ่า) ณ เมืองซูริค ประเทศสวิตเซอร์แลนด์
สมาคมกีฬาฟุตบอลแห่งประเทศไทยฯ ส่งหนังสือแจ้งต่อ สหพันธ์ฟุตบอลนานาชาติ (ฟีฟ่า) และ สมาคมสมาชิกทั้ง 211 ประเทศ ถึงการเสด็จสวรรคตของ สมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสิริกิติ์ พระบรมราชินีนาถ พระบรมราชชนนีพันปีหลวง เมื่อวันที่ 24 ตุลาคม 2568 ก่อนที่ สหพันธ์ฟุตบอลนานาชาติ (ฟีฟ่า) จะร่วมแสดงความอาลัย ต่อเหตุการณ์โศกเศร้าครั้งนี้ ของประเทศไทย และ ของปวงชนชาวไทย ด้วยการลดธงชาติไทย และ ธงของทั้ง 6 สหพันธ์ลงครึ่งเสา
สมาคมกีฬาฟุตบอลแห่งประเทศไทยฯ นำโดย “มาดามแป้ง” นวลพรรณ ล่ำซำ นายกสมาคมกีฬาฟุตบอลฯ และ คณะผู้บริหารทั้งหมด ขอขอบคุณ สหพันธ์ฟุตบอลนานาชาติ (ฟีฟ่า) ด้วยใจจริง ที่นำโดย จานนี อินฟานติโน ประธานสหพันธ์ฟุตบอลนานาชาติ (ฟีฟ่า) ต่อการแสดงออกถึงความอาลัยจากเหตุการณ์ที่เกิดขึ้น พร้อมกันนี้ สมาคมกีฬาฟุตบอลฯ ยังขอน้อมรำลึกในพระมหากรุณาธิคุณอันหาที่สุดมิได้ของ สมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสิริกิติ์ พระบรมราชินีนาถ พระบรมราชชนนีพันปีหลวง
FIFA Lowers Flags to Half-Mast in Tribute to the Passing of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother of Thailand
The Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) has informed the Football Association of Thailand (FA Thailand) of its gesture of mourning and respect following the passing of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother of Thailand.
As a mark of tribute, FIFA has lowered the national flag of Thailand and the flags of all continental confederations to half-mast at its headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland.
FA Thailand earlier notified FIFA and all 211 Member Associations of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother of Thailand, on 24 October 2025. Following this, FIFA expressed its condolences and solidarity with the people of Thailand by lowering the Thai national flag and the flags of all six continental confederations to half-mast.
FA Thailand, led by President Madame Pang Nualphan Lamsam and its Executive Committee, extends its heartfelt gratitude to FIFA and its President, Gianni Infantino, for this meaningful expression of sympathy and remembrance.
FA Thailand also takes this moment to humbly honour and pay the highest respect to the immeasurable benevolence and lifelong devotion of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother of Thailand, whose grace and compassion will forever remain in the hearts of the Thai people.
