ตามที่เมื่อวันที่ 22 มี.ค. 2560 เวลาประมาณ 14.20 น. (ตามเวลาท้องถิ่น) ได้เกิดเหตุการณ์ความรุนแรงที่บริเวณอาคารรัฐสภา และบนสะพาน Westminster กรุงลอนดอน สหราชอาณาจักร ซึ่งฝ่ายความมั่นคงแห่งสหราชอาณาจักรได้ประกาศเป็นเหตุก่อการร้ายและเตือนภัยในระดับ 4 (Severe) นั้น
พลเอกประยุทธ์ จันทร์โอชา นายกรัฐมนตรี และนายดอน ปรมัตถ์วินัย รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ได้มีข้อความสารแสดงความเสียใจถึงนางเทรีซา เมย์ นายกรัฐมนตรีสหราชอาณาจักร และนายบอริส จอห์นสัน รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศสหราชอาณาจักร ตามลำดับ โดยมีรายละเอียดดังนี้

I have learnt with deep sorrow of the terror attack that occurred in London on 22 March 2017 which resulted in the loss of several innocent lives and injuries.
On behalf of the Royal Thai Government and the people of the Kingdom of Thailand, I wish to express my profound condolences and heartfelt sympathies to Your Excellency and, through you, to the bereaved families of those who were affected by this dreadful event. In this hour of anguish, our thoughts and prayers are with the British people. Thailand, as a friend of the United Kingdom, stands with the international community in the
global fight against all forms of violence and terrorism.

I am profoundly shocked and saddened to learn of the deadly attack near the Houses of Parliament in London on 22 March 2017, resulting in the loss of innocent lives.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and families affected by this dreadful event. In this moment of bereavement, I would like to extend my deepest sympathy and condolences to Your Excellency and the British people and especially to the bereaved families of the victims. Thailand as a friend of the United Kingdom remains committed to cooperate with the British Government and the international community to fight against all forms of terrorism.
